Burj Al Arab was double recognized as the Best Hotel in the World and Best Hotel in the Middle East at the prestigious Ultratravel Awards -The ULTRAs- hosted by The Telegraph Magazine. The ULTRAs – Ultimate Luxury Travel Related Awards – are the result of a global survey by leading luxury travel media platform, Ultratravel.
At 320 meters high (fifth tallest hotel in the world) designed by British Architect Tom Wright that has put Dubai on the world map, the sail-shaped seven-star hotel was designed to reflect the iconic nature of the city under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
CEO of Jumeirah Group José Silva said: “It is with the greatest joy that we receive such a fantastic accolade for Burj Al Arab. I am so proud that the Burj al Arab, 20 years after its construction, still remains undisputedly the most iconic hotel in the world with more than 200 Suites (min 170 sqm) offering breathless views and more than 120 butlers delivering service beyond expectations. This property continues to be a unique business model for the luxury hospitality industry.”
Two years ago, the hotel added a Terrace floating over the sea- a 10,000 square meter luxury destination complete with a restaurant, a bar and lounge, a 828 m2 saltwater infinity pool (80 meters long) and 32 private and exclusive cabanas. A truly singular experience at the foot of this architectural masterpiece.Add to Favorites
