USD 96 million Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC hotel opens

 

The Crowne Plaza Muscat hotel at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), worth USD 96 million was inaugurated by Omran, Oman’s tourism development company.

 

Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC comprises 296 rooms, in addition to meeting, event, and food and beverage (F&B) facilities. 

 

The four-star hotel is the first of three to open within OCEC, which forms the first phase of Madinat Al Irfan district. 

 

A five-star, JW Marriott-branded hotel, and the OCEC Convention Centre facility, are due to open in the district next year. 

 

Upon completion, the precinct will also include a business park, retail areas, and residential districts.
