A trailblazer in economy hotels since 1974, Ibis, AccorHotels’ economy brand, is shaking up that sector by offering travelers and local residents a totally new customer experience that focuses on hospitality, the local community and increased social interaction. The new, revitalized concept will position hotels under the brand’s vast global network as genuine living spaces that are flexible, welcoming and trendy.

The Ibis model has also evolved from a uniform and standardized approach into a flexible and personalized one, made possible by three new design concepts. The selected designers in Europe, Latin America and Asia will afford guests the option to choose from rooms that can accommodate between one to six people. They can additionally opt for the Smart Room, Ibis’ concept that is revolutionizing accessibility standards. As a result of its large size and functional furniture, it provides accessibility, wellbeing, comfort and safety for everyone.

Free to choose from several new F&B ideas, Ibis hoteliers can opt for the concept most suited to the specific characteristics of their clientele and tailor it according to their neighborhood in order to offer a menu that showcases local dishes and fresh produce. The new revitalized brand will make music an integral part of the customer experience by positioning itself as a promoter of new talents. Lastly, the brand has over 60 properties across the Middle East and Africa and the new Ibis concept will roll out across the MENA region over the next few months, further transforming the economy segment within the region.
