Radisson Blu opens resort in Al Khobar



Radisson Blu opened its first resort in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia on December 4. Radisson Blu Resort, Al Khobar Half Moon Bay, with 137 rooms, suites and private chalets.


Tim Cordon, area senior vice president, Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group said: “We are delighted to bring the Radisson Blu brand to Al Khobar, and increase our presence across the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. We are proud to be making our own contribution to this sector growth, with 38 hotels in operation or under development across the Kingdom.”


The resort features upper-upscale, stylish accommodation, with many guest rooms and suites featuring balcony views of the pool, garden and sea. The individual chalets are situated across a beautiful garden, and feature two bedrooms, a living room and private parking. All rooms have high-speed internet and 24-hour room service.

The resort – the largest in Al Khobar – is just 50 kilometers from the south of the city, has access to beautiful sandy beaches, and provides the perfect combination of relaxation and unique recreational activities. The resort features health clubs for men and women, an outdoor swimming pool, bicycle rental services and a kids’ playing area. The hotel also provides easy access to the private beach, with many opportunities for Jet Ski, sailing, parasailing, diving and boat trips.


It also brings several F&B options, in addition to an 80m2 meeting room with facilities that accommodate 40-50 people. It offers the ideal space for productive meetings, includes high-speed internet, wireless access, and a separate buffet area.
