Esco Bar has expanded its Lebanese footprint with the opening of a new branch in Beirut’s high-traffic Gemmayzé district.
The new opening reinforces the brand’s commitment to experiential dining as it marks 10 years in the market. Targeting a clientele seeking an elevated entertainment-driven restaurant experience, the new venue further positions Esco Bar within the city’s competitive lifestyle corridors.
Speaking on the brand’s ability to remain resilient in a challenging hospitality landscape, Mark Chehade, managing partner at MEC Concepts, stated: “I believe that the secret to our success is having a robust business model that’s able to stand the test of time while we fight to keep our brand alive. Bar-restaurants, where visitors can enjoy drinks, great food and entertainment all under one roof, don’t go out of fashion.”
Spanning 250 square meters, the new location accommodates 80 indoor seats and 30 outdoor seats, enabling flexible guest flow and efficient table turnover. The investment, estimated at 350,000 dollars, reflects continued confidence in Beirut’s recovering hospitality landscape.
Nightly DJ programming anchors the venue’s entertainment offering, transforming dinner service into a late-evening social destination aligned with shifting consumer behavior. The average check hovers around USD 40, matching regional benchmarks for mid-to-premium casual dining.
The menu introduces new cocktails and Latin-inspired dishes tailored to broaden appeal in a competitive market. Moreover, the centralized kitchen in Jounieh supports product consistency and year-round operational standards across all branches.
Esco Bar’s expansion strategy continues internationally, with additional Dubai openings underway, reinforcing the group’s ambitions within the region’s fast-moving lifestyle hospitality sector.
