Third edition of the Agri-Food Innovation Award 2025 to take place on November 27 in Beirut

QOOT Cluster, Lebanon’s leading agrifood innovation hub, proudly announces the launch of the Agri-Food Innovation Award 2025 (AFIA 2025). It is the country’s premier platform celebrating groundbreaking products and visionary producers in the agrifood sector.

Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Industry, AFIA 2025 reinforces Lebanon’s potential for economic growth. It highlights the critical role of innovation in strengthening competitiveness, food security, and sustainable development.

Under the theme “Lebanon Rises with Innovation,” QOOT Cluster invites all Lebanese agricultural and food companies to apply. They can showcase their most innovative products, reinforcing their presence on Lebanon’s innovation map.

The Agri-Food Innovation Award 2025 ceremony will take place on November 27, 2025. The event will gather leaders from political, diplomatic, industrial, and economic sectors, alongside international partners, researchers, and industry experts.

AFIA 2025 is organized in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lebanon (NLIN), the European Union through the Euromed Clusters Forward (ECF) program, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). These partners bring international expertise and support to strengthen Lebanon’s agrifood innovation ecosystem. The initiative is further backed by numerous local partners, including private companies, associations, universities, and research centers.

AFIA 2025 winners will receive:

  • R&D vouchers from leading Lebanese universities and research centers

  • Exclusive prizes from QOOT Cluster partners

  • Access to mentoring, networking, and collaboration opportunities with top agrifood stakeholders
