Lebanese Bakery’s Bold Expansion

Engineer Bassam Chamoun and his architect brother, Samer, channel their culinary passion into the Lebanese Bakery, devoted to showcasing the excellence of Lebanese flatbreads. The duo’s unwavering dedication to authenticity, simplicity, and culinary ingenuity has led to resounding international success.

Ever wondered about the Lebanese Bakery’s recent growth?

“We recently unveiled new chapters in Cairo and launched our second site in Harrods, London. Each location, meticulously chosen, boasts a flagship branch in Maadi, Cairo, targeting a vibrant market, and a prestigious presence in Harrods. Meeting high standards necessitated adjustments in design, menu, and service.”

Curious about the decision to expand during this critical period and the encountered challenges?

“While much of our expansion was pre-planned, challenges arose due to border closures and travel bans. Adapting to this, we’re embracing technology, developing an online platform, and digitizing training manuals for a seamless launch despite hurdles.”

What’s on the horizon for future expansion?

“We’re gearing up to unveil a new branch in U-Walk, Riyadh next month, with a bustling schedule ahead, including plans for two Gulf cities. Our gaze extends westward, with America firmly in our sights for the Lebanese Bakery’s expansion.”
