Lebanese entrepreneur Maya Bekhazi Noun has launched The Food Studio, a new catering concept.
“Catering has always been a complementary business for me. I did not shift from restaurants to catering as I have always done a bit of catering on the side,” she told HN.
She explained: “I have always catered on a personal level, to friends and family and for small events, because I loved doing it. From then on, the demand started naturally growing and our clients’ database expanded alone,” she said.
What is different in catering is that every event is a new project, and requires creativity and research, which she likes to do.
According to her, The Food Studio’s areas of expertise are: Discovery menus, where they create tailor made menus for each event, kids’ birthdays with theme parties, and B2B, where they provide solutions and back up to other F & B retailers.
