Earth Hotels is expanding into Saudi Arabia with two new properties set to open in the coming years. Earth Riyadh is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026, followed by Earth Jeddah in the fourth quarter of 2027. Both projects are part of a larger development pipeline valued at over USD 202 million, which also includes urban resorts in Lisbon and Porto.
Earth Riyadh
The hotels will debut in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh’s Al Maathar district, located conveniently near the Diplomatic Quarter. Additionally, Earth Riyadh will feature 86 rooms, lofts and suites thoughtfully designed to accommodate both business and leisure guests. Moreover, the property will offer a membership-based co-working space, a wellness area, rooftop day club and multiple dining venues. Consequently, dining options will include an eatery, a bar, and a lounge, enhancing the guest experience with variety. Overall, positioned as a versatile urban hospitality concept, Earth Riyadh aims to become a local hub for work, socializing and relaxation.
Earth Jeddah
Following Riyadh, Earth Jeddah will open within a large mixed-use waterfront development, enhancing Saudi Arabia’s growing hospitality landscape significantly. The project includes 110 hotel rooms and 179 fully serviced apartments, branded “Earth Living,” catering to short-term and extended stays. Additionally, Earth Jeddah will provide co-working zones, social and event spaces, retail outlets and a wellbeing hub with advanced therapies. Notably, the wellbeing hub will feature cryotherapy, float therapy, and performance training facilities to support health-conscious guests’ diverse needs. This hybrid hospitality and entertainment venue aligns perfectly with Saudi Arabia’s shift toward integrated lifestyle destinations attracting global and local visitors.
Alan Honein, Earth Hotels’ founder and CEO, said: “With the expansion into Riyadh and Jeddah, we’re bringing our DNA to destinations that are dynamic, youthful and on the rise, and we’re proud to be part of this cultural moment.”
Meanwhile, co-founder Rami Moukarzel emphasized the company’s commitment to creating experiential spaces. He stated: “Earth Hotels is more than a place to rest your head. We’re building experiential hubs where people live, work, play, and grow. “
