Kleindienst Group has unveiled Hygge Hotel. It will open in H1 2027 within its flagship destination, The Heart of Europe, World Islands.

Inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, the hotel celebrates joy, contentment and simplicity through immersive, emotionally enriching guest experiences and design. Therefore, it aims to become a home of happiness, allowing guests to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters most.

Moreover, the 96-room property features four restaurants, each crafted to promote comfort, connection and serenity in every thoughtful detail. From soft textures and warm lighting to natural materials and intuitive service, every aspect of the hotel encourages rest and ease. Consequently, no matter how far one travels, the hotel is intentionally built to evoke the soothing familiarity of being home.

The hygge philosophy shapes every touchpoint, blending understated design with intimate spaces that encourage calm, community and quiet personal reflection. Additionally, meals are prepared with seasonal ingredients and presented in a comforting, familiar way to foster warmth and emotional connection. Moreover, wellness is approached gently, through peaceful environments, tranquil rituals and saunas that restore balance and prioritize mindfulness and inner peace.

Thus, Hygge Hotel transforms hospitality into a lifestyle, where simplicity, presence and emotional well-being define the true essence of modern luxury.

Josef Kleindienst, founder and chairman of Kleindienst Group, said: “With Hygge Hotel, we are not just unveiling a new property, we are opening the doors to a home of happiness. This hotel is designed to offer guests a deep sense of comfort, calm and connection: a sanctuary where joy lives in all the details.”

Matthias Hollwich, founding principal of HWKN Architecture, stated: “When developing the façade and interiors of Hygge Hotel, we were encouraged to approach the property as a distinct cultural story, viewing hospitality not just as a design, but as an emotional journey.”

Situated within The Heart of Europe, the Hygge Hotel joins Dubai’s most ambitious development, featuring six culturally inspired themed islands. As a result, it integrates seamlessly into a destination shaped by European architecture, innovation, sustainability and exceptional hospitality-driven experiences. Consequently, with the addition of Hygge Hotel, the visionary project expands to include a more intimate and emotionally engaging hospitality offering. Moreover, the hotel introduces a heartfelt dimension, providing guests with a sanctuary of warmth, stillness and well-being amid striking surroundings.
