KAYU Bistro opens in Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi

Having recently opened at Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi, KAYU Bistro has made waves in the local food scene.

The new addition promises a unique and delightful dining experience for both residents and visitors to the city. Indeed, KAYU’s arrival adds a new layer of culinary diversity to the mall, expanding the range of dining options available. The addition of KAYU Bistro is poised to make Galleria Mall an even more appealing hub for leisure and indulgence.

Renowned pastry chef Karim Bourgi leads the artisan dessert boutique, where they specialize in creating French favorites daily using only natural ingredients, with a strong emphasis on quality. Illustrating this point, Karim Bourgi pastry chef and owner of KAYU, exclusively said to Hospitality News ME: “At KAYU, not only do we offer a broad selection of traditional French pastries, but we also provide golden and delicately layered viennoiseries and croissants. In addition to that, we present colorful macarons and specialty éclairs. Furthermore, my venue offers guests a taste of classic pastries with a contemporary twist. Additionally, we serve unique pastries like ‘cruffins’ and the KAYU signature dessert, featuring three chocolate layers: milk, dark and praline noisettes. To add to that, we also offer classic desserts. Furthermore, I cannot imagine the world of pastry without chocolate éclairs or vanilla millefeuille.”

Bourgi’s creativity shines through each delicately crafted dessert. The menu showcases a range of exquisite treats that cater to the refined palate.

The renowned pastry chef was honored with the MENA’s Best Pastry Chef Award for 2023. The accolade celebrates talent and excellence in the realm of desserts and pastry.
Looking ahead, Bourgi has plans to open KAYU in London in October.
