SPICE Launches in Saudi Arabia to Redefine Restaurant Funding Across the GCC

SPICE has officially launched in Saudi Arabia introducing an innovative approach to restaurant financing designed to support sustainable regional growth.

The platform presents Dining Capital which provides restaurants with upfront funding that avoids debt equity loss or traditional repayment structures entirely. SPICE routes repayment through diners, ensuring operators scale their businesses naturally while maintaining full ownership and operational independence. The app also connects high value guests to curated restaurants offering personalized experiences, convenient booking and exclusive loyalty-driven rewards.

Built by Experienced Industry Innovators

SPICE was founded by seasoned entrepreneurs Zeid Husban Wadi Hawi and Yousef Sawalha known for multiple successful hospitality tech ventures. The team brings 15 years of industry expertise, enabling them to create a product tailored specifically to regional restaurant challenges. Their vision focuses on aligning restaurant and diner interests by offering capital that supports long-term operational stability and consistent growth. They emphasize that SPICE aims to elevate hospitality by balancing business performance with memorable, emotional and culturally relevant dining experiences. Artificial intelligence powers the platform’s personalization engine, ensuring each user journey feels intuitive, relevant and reflective of individual dining preferences.

Saudi Arabia selected as launch market
SPICE chose Saudi Arabia due to its dynamic hospitality landscape, strong investment momentum and willingness to embrace transformative food sector innovation. The founders highlighted the kingdom’s rapid evolution which continues attracting global attention while setting new standards for premium dining experiences. They also praised Saudi talent and ambition, describing the market as inspiring and essential to shaping the region’s next hospitality chapter. SPICE confirmed investment support from major regional stakeholders who share the company’s mission to redefine restaurant funding across MENA.

Expansion across the region
SPICE will announce its founding restaurant partners in early 2026 as it scales within Riyadh’s rapidly expanding premium dining scene. The company also plans to expand into the wider Saudi market followed by strategic launches across the UAE, GCC and Europe.
