Rotana Centro Hail slated to open in Saudi Arabia

Rotana announced the signing of Centro Hail, a next generation lifestyle hotel, strengthening its growing footprint across Saudi Arabia.  The project is developed in partnership with Alkhorayef Investment and Development Company and the Tourism Development Fund.

Centro Hail will feature 175 contemporary rooms, expanding Rotana’s operational and pipeline portfolio to 25 hotels totaling 5,600 rooms. Strategically located in Hail, the hotel positions the city as a gateway to northern Saudi Arabia with rising tourism potential. Furthermore, the next-generation Centro concept blends smart design, functionality and social energy for modern business and leisure travelers. As the first Centro in Saudi Arabia, the property introduces open social spaces and flexible coworking areas.

Philip Barnes, CEO of Rotana, voiced his enthusiasm for the project. He said, “We’re excited to introduce our next-generation Centro concept to Hail. Furthermore, Hail represents the diversity and growth potential of Saudi Arabia’s evolving tourism landscape. Moreover, our expansion is about meaningful experiences, nurturing local talent and supporting the national vision for sustainable hospitality.”

Delivering contemporary guest experiences

Hesham Al Khorayef, Chairman and CEO of Alkhorayef Investment and Development Co, also commented on the collaboration. He stated, “We are delighted to partner with Rotana and the Tourism Development Fund on redefining hospitality in Hail. Centro Hail will deliver a contemporary, accessible guest experience, setting a new benchmark for lifestyle hotels regionally. Furthermore, the project will contribute to the local economy, create jobs and strengthen Hail’s tourism and business position.”

Rotana’s Saudi portfolio includes properties in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Al Khobar, Al Jubail and Dammam. Moreover, additional hotels are under development in Hail, Al Baha, Abha and other emerging destinations.

The expansion supports Vision 2030’s target of attracting 150 million visitors annually by the decade’s end. Consequently, Rotana continues focusing on innovation, sustainability and guest-first hospitality, delivering its promise of Treasured Time.
