Pullman New Capital Hotel and Residences slated to open in Egypt

Accor and Contact Developments sign Pullman New Capital Hotel and Residences, introducing the Pullman brand to Egypt for the first time.

The agreement reinforces Accor’s expansion strategy across Egypt, positioning the country as a key growth market in the region. The project is developed by Contact Developments, marking its entry into hospitality while aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030 national ambitions. Furthermore, the development aims to create an integrated destination within Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, bringing business, culture and community experiences. Strategically located on Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the property overlooks the Green River and offers connectivity to major districts. The project features a premium 150-key five-star Pullman hotel alongside 100 branded residences within high-rise towers. Additionally, the mixed-use destination is designed to meet evolving needs of today’s travelers and residents seeking flexibility and convenience.

Raki Phillips, regional president for the PME division across the MEAT at Accor, highlighted the importance of the project. He stated: “Egypt is a pivotal growth market for Accor in the Middle East and Africa region, and the new administrative capital represents a new frontier of opportunity.

“The signing of Pullman New Capital Hotel & Residences marks an important milestone in expanding our premium portfolio and introducing globally recognized brands into high-growth destinations. Pullman is uniquely positioned to bring people together, creating spaces where business, culture and community intersect, while the introduction of branded residences reflects our forward-looking approach to emerging opportunities in hospitality and real estate.”

Thus, with over 150 hotels globally and more than 60 projects in the pipeline, Pullman strengthens Accor’s position as a leading hospitality operator in Egypt.
