Saudi Arabia is set to expand its luxury hospitality offering in 2026 with eight high end hotels, resorts and wellness retreats.
Luxury arrives in Wadi Safar
Among the most anticipated openings is Amansamar, Aman Group’s ultra luxury sanctuary in Wadi Safar, near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At Turaif. Designed by renowned architect Jean Michel Gathy, the property will feature an 80 suite hotel alongside Saudi Arabia’s first Aman branded private villas and estates. The area will also welcome The Oberoi Wadi Safar. The upscale retreat will showcase Oberoi’s renowned service and complement Wadi Safar’s growing luxury hospitality offering.
AMAALA expands its luxury and wellness portfolio
AMAALA will welcome five new luxury properties. Clinique La Prairie Health Resort will introduce a longevity focused concept centred on medical care, nutrition, movement and wellbeing. Guests will enjoy cryotherapy chambers, a cooking school, a beach club and personalised wellness programmes. Equinox Resort AMAALA will add another dimension to the destination. Designed by Foster + Partners, the resort will offer 128 guestrooms, including two penthouses, alongside a luxury spa and a magnesium salt rooftop pool. Jayasom Wellness Resort will further strengthen AMAALA’s wellness appeal. The property will dedicate more than 7,000 square metres to beauty, holistic health, fitness, nutrition and physiotherapy. Guests will also enjoy wellness trails, yoga spaces and healthy dining experiences. Nammos Resort AMAALA will mark the brand’s first international property. Located at Triple Bay, it will blend Mediterranean glamour with traditional Hijazi architecture and Cycladic influences. Completing the destination’s lineup is Rosewood AMAALA, which will bring the brand’s signature luxury hospitality experience to the Red Sea.
A new addition to the Red Sea
On Shura Island, Faena Red Sea Resort will feature 150 suites and villas, each with a private pool and sea views. In addition, the property will include six restaurants and The Living Room, an entertainment venue.
These eight openings highlight Saudi Arabia’s continued investment in luxury hospitality. More importantly, they reinforce the kingdom’s focus on wellness, premium travel and immersive guest experiences. Consequently, the projects will help position Saudi Arabia among the world’s leading luxury tourism destinations.
