Aseer Expands Summer Tourism Investment with 44 Seasonal Sites

Aseer Region Municipality has launched 44 seasonal investment sites to boost tourism investment and support the region’s busy summer tourism season.

Through this initiative, the municipality aims to attract investors, improve visitor experiences and increase tourism’s contribution to the local economy. As a result, Aseer continues to grow as one of Saudi Arabia’s leading tourism destinations.

44 seasonal investment sites launched

To support these goals, Aseer Region Municipality is offering 44 seasonal investment sites during the summer season. In doing so, it is strengthening the region’s position as one of Saudi Arabia’s fastest growing tourism destinations. It also aims to encourage more private sector investment.

Summer tourism plan boosts infrastructure and events

According to Aseer Region Mayor Eng. Abdullah Al-Jali, the municipality is carrying out a summer tourism plan based on two main priorities. First, the plan includes upgrades to roads, sidewalks, parks, lighting and municipal services. Meanwhile, it also creates new tourism investment opportunities. In addition, the municipality is organizing events and entertainment activities across the region’s cities and governorates to improve the visitor experience.

Aseer strengthens its tourism sector

As a result, Aseer’s tourism sector continues to grow. The growth is supported by better infrastructure, natural and heritage attractions and a larger calendar of seasonal events. Together, these developments are making Aseer a stronger tourism and investment destination in Saudi Arabia. They also create new opportunities across the hospitality, tourism, entertainment and service sectors. Ultimately, these efforts support long term economic growth.
