Chef Middle East Partners with Fondation Paul Bocuse

Chef Middle East, the region’s leading foodservice distributor, has announced a landmark partnership with the Fondation Paul Bocuse, marking a transformative milestone for the Middle East’s culinary landscape.

Preserving Paul Bocuse’s legacy

Founded by the legendary French chef Paul Bocuse, the Foundation embodies his belief: “to pass on is to inspire.” Moreover, its mission extends beyond teaching techniques, nurturing creativity, curiosity, and precision while safeguarding the world’s culinary heritage.

Through its global network of acclaimed chefs, the Fondation empowers professionals to deepen traditions, learn from masters, and blend heritage with innovation.

Epicure Studio: regional gateway to global culinary knowledge

At the heart of this collaboration stands Epicure Studio, Chef Middle East’s KHDA-approved training facility based in Dubai. Furthermore, more than a demonstration kitchen, Epicure Studio becomes a hub for knowledge-sharing, sustainability, and cultural culinary exchanges.

Steve Pyle, CEO of Chef Middle East, explained: “This partnership unites Fondation Paul Bocuse’s mentorship legacy with Chef Middle East’s deep roots in vibrant regional food culture. Together, we will nurture current and future chefs through world-class programs, sustainability initiatives, and exposure that elevate Middle Eastern gastronomy globally.”

Masterclasses with world-class chefs

As part of the partnership, Epicure Studio will host masterclasses and courses led by celebrated chefs worldwide.
Accordingly, these programs will provide:

  • Hands-on training inspired by Bocuse’s philosophy of heritage and innovation
  • Vocational courses enabling aspiring talents to confidently join professional kitchens
  • Upskilling opportunities helping seasoned chefs refine their craft

The inaugural masterclass will take place on 26 September 2025, led by Chef Gilles Reinhardt, Meilleur Ouvrier de France.
A second masterclass is scheduled for 11 December 2025, with further details to be announced soon.
Beginning January 2026, Epicure Studio will launch a calendar of monthly upskilling programs for professionals across the industry.

A culinary bridge across borders

This collaboration demonstrates how food unites cultures and strengthens global culinary connections. Moreover, by linking Middle Eastern gastronomy with Fondation Paul Bocuse’s expertise, the partnership will spotlight regional talent on the international stage.

Paul-Maurice Morel, CEO of Bocuse Group, emphasized: “Our ambition has always been to share French culinary heritage beyond borders. Partnering with Chef Middle East allows us to celebrate Paul Bocuse’s legacy while empowering chefs across the region.”

Shaping the future of Middle Eastern gastronomy

With this partnership, Chef Middle East and Fondation Paul Bocuse set the stage for a new era in gastronomy. Consequently, the Middle East is positioned to become a global benchmark for culinary skill, creativity, and excellence.

Registrations for upcoming programs will open soon, and only limited spots will be available.
