FCSI Europe, Africa, Middle East (EAME) successfully brought together foodservice professionals from across the region for its HEART ’26 Conference, held from 28 to 31 May 2026 at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool in England.
Centered around the theme of Humanity, Environment, AI and Automation, Responsibility and Togetherness, the conference delivered four days of thought leadership, networking and knowledge exchange, reinforcing FCSI’s commitment to greater collaboration and harmonization across the global foodservice industry.
The program featured a series of keynote presentations, expert panels and interactive discussions addressing some of the sector’s most pressing opportunities and challenges. Highlights included a keynote from Professor Bryce Evans of Liverpool Hope University, who explored Liverpool’s rich food heritage and its influence on global food culture, while Danny Potter FCSI of Invito Design shared lessons from the delivery of Olympia London’s £2.6 billion regeneration project.
Sessions throughout the conference examined topics ranging from human centered foodservice design and sustainable alternatives to single use plastics to the growing role of artificial intelligence in consulting and commercial kitchens. Industry leaders from Compass Group, Xampla, Cooper8, H+K United and PROprima joined members of the FCSI Worldwide Board to share expertise and practical perspectives.
Delegates also enjoyed a special interview with restaurateur, author and television presenter Nisha Katona, founder of Mowgli Street Food and the Mowgli Trust charity.
Alongside the educational program, attendees participated in networking events, city experiences and exclusive dinners, creating valuable opportunities to build relationships, exchange ideas and strengthen connections across the international foodservice community.
