Emirates culinary team triumphs at Culinary Olympics 2024
The Emirates Culinary Guild has returned triumphant from the Culinary Olympics 2024, held in Germany this February. Representing the UAE, the team comprised 20 artists and pastry chefs, who together showcased their culinary expertise on the global stage, competing against 45 culinary teams from countries including Singapore, Sweden, Norway, South Korea and Taiwan.
2 Deira chefs won the US Beef virtual cooking competition
Both amateur classes were won by lady chefs: Alisa Belousova won the Best Recipe with Picture Competition, whereas Badya Sallam Khaireddin the Video Class.
The Emirates Culinary Guild brings home 45 medals from the Culinary Olympics 2020
The team was led by Emirates Culinary Guild President and Director of Kitchens – Radisson Blu Deira, Chef Uwe Micheel and was supported by Thomas Haller, Chef Norbert Girnth, and President of the Syrian Chefs Guild Majed Al Sabagh.
