Radisson Hotel & Apartments Dammam Industrial City has appointed Tobias Ammon as its new general manager. The hotel, located in the heart of the business district, is the only international four-star hotel in Dammam Second Industrial City.

Ammon said: “As a passionate hotelier, I am delighted to join the hotel at this exciting time. My international exposure has given me a unique perspective on all aspects of the hotel operation, and together with the hotel team, I am looking forward to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, delivering Radisson’s renowned ‘Yes I Can!’ service.”

A graduate of Cornell University, Ammon completed the Radisson Hotel Group Mentee program —designed to identify and develop high-potential talents into general managers.

He began his hospitality career in 1996 and worked in various positions, including director of food and beverage and executive assistant manager, before becoming general manager of the Radisson Blu Klaipeda, Lithuania, in 2011.

Prior to his new post, Ammon was the general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bosporus. He also spent two years in the Middle East as cluster general manager for Radisson Blu Muscat & Sohar, Oman.
