Ulf Bremer

Luxury wellness hospitality continues to evolve across the Middle East. Ulf Bremer, GM of Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, explores growing demand for personalization, cultural authenticity, restorative travel experiences and holistic wellbeing.

How has your regional hospitality experience shaped your leadership approach throughout luxury wellness-driven destinations?

Working across the region has shown me the importance of understanding people, culture and the evolving expectations of luxury travelers. Furthermore, my leadership style is collaborative and people-focused, with an emphasis on creating environments where teams feel empowered to deliver intuitive service. Consequently, at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA, leading destination operations means combining excellence with empathy, adaptability and genuine human connection.

What defines meaningful guest experiences within today’s evolving luxury hospitality landscape?

Today’s luxury wellness traveler seeks experiences that feel personal, authentic and emotionally engaging while delivering meaningful connections and lasting memories. Moreover, meaningful hospitality creates moments that stay with guests long after departure through wellness, cultural discovery and a transformative sense of escape.  Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay delivers wellness experiences deeply rooted in Saudi Arabian heritage traditions. Furthermore, the destination draws upon healing traditions, native ingredients and sensory rituals, creating authentic experiences with exceptional cultural depth and authenticity. More than a luxury wellness retreat, AMAALA presents Saudi wellness authentically, through contemporary rituals, scents, ingredients and distinctive regional spirit.

Why do you believe restorative travel is gaining momentum among global luxury travelers?

Guests are seeking travel experiences that allow them to slow down, disconnect from daily pressures and focus on personal wellbeing. Furthermore, luxury travelers prioritize privacy, balance and meaningful experiences that deliver transformative moments while naturally integrating wellness throughout every stage of travel. At Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, restorative travel remains deeply personalized for every guest’s wellness journey.

How do you see wellness influencing the future direction of luxury hospitality across the Middle East?

I believe wellness is redefining luxury hospitality across the Middle East, with travelers increasingly seeking purpose, balance, transformation and exceptional service. At Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, wellness extends beyond spas, embracing holistic renewal centered on mind and body. Furthermore, experiences help guests reconnect with themselves, nature and destinations through thoughtfully curated wellness journeys and immersive surroundings offering meaningful transformation. Furthermore, travelers are seeking destinations supporting healthier, intentional lifestyles without compromising luxury, comfort, authenticity or highly personalized experiences. Moreover, the region will continue evolving toward holistic luxury where wellbeing, sustainability and meaningful human connections.

Rita Ghantous

Rita Ghantous is a hospitality aficionado and a passionate writer with over 9 years’ experience in journalism and 5 years experience in the hospitality sector. Her passion for the performance arts and writing, started early. At 10 years old she was praised for her solo performance of the Beatles song “All My Love” accompanied by a guitarist, and was approached by a French talent scout during her school play. However, her love for writing was stronger. Fresh out of school, she became a freelance journalist for Noun Magazine and was awarded the Silver Award Cup for Outstanding Poetry, by The International Library of Poetry (Washington DC). She studied Business Management and earned a Masters degree from Saint Joseph University (USJ), her thesis was published in the Proche-Orient, Études en Management book. She then pursued a career in the hospitality industry but didn’t give up writing, that is why she launched the Four Points by Sheraton Le Verdun Newsletter. Her love for the industry and journalism led her to Hospitality Services - the organizers of the HORECA trade show in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan, as well as Salon Du Chocolat, Beirut Cooking Festival, Whisky Live and other regional shows. She is currently the Publications Executive of Hospitality News Middle East, Taste & Flavors and Lebanon Traveler.
