Bidfood KSA returns to Saudi HORECA with the largest display of premium F&B brands

Bidfood KSA (Al Diyafah), the KSA’s leading multi-channel foodservice distributor, is a star attraction at this year’s Saudi HORECA, the Kingdom’s biggest hospitality and foodservice event, commencing tomorrow (November 26) at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The three-day event will see Bidfood KSA, formerly known as Al Diyafah, showcasing an extensive range of food and beverage products, a series of live cooking performances and coffee master classes across its 180 sqm space in Hall 1, while providing industry professionals and investors with a solid platform to seek new business and partnership opportunities in the region.

This is an exciting time for Saudi Arabia’s food and beverage industry as the Kingdom’s food consumption is projected to reach 39 million MT in 2023, recording an annual average rate of 3.2% since 2018, according to GCC Food Industry Report 2019 by Alpen Capital.

With a variety of premium quality food and beverage brands on display at Bidfood KSA’s stand, trade visitors will be spoilt for choices; alongside a unique opportunity for business partners and associates to network with customers as the company invites 18 international suppliers from 11 different international brands to attend the show.

A dedicated beverage area features three different bars bringing an array of premium quality products from international companies including as illy, Monin, S. Pellegrino, Acqua Panna and Haagen-Dazs for the trade visitors.

Top international brands such as Sweet Street, CSM, Baker & Baker, Bridor and Hero Jams will be present at the Desserts & Bakeries section to satisfy visitors’ sweet tooth.

Whereas, in the Food Arena, visitors have brands like Chef Excellence (Belgian French fries), Green Giant (frozen vegetables from General Mills), Schreiber (Slice on Slice Cheese) and Barilla Pasta to whet their taste buds.

A range of premium quality meat from Australian brands Rangers Valley and Stanbroke is also on display alongside Bidfood KSA’s private labels of frying oil, mayonnaise, supplemented by whole peeled tomatoes from Chefmate and potato buns from Martin’s Rolls.

The visitors are assured of some exciting time as they get to witness some scintillating live performances including Cold Brew master class on “Global Coffee Trends” to be conducted by Attila Molnar, a four-time Barista Champion of Hungry and World Barista Championship Finalist, who is also a Monin Brand Development & Coffee Innovation Manager for EMEIA region.

Concurrently, the live cooking sessions will entice meat lovers with a premium range of Australian and Wagyu meat. For health-conscious visitors, Flavoil will conduct yield tasting to showcase the sustainability of the high oleic oil.

HORECA Saudi is scheduled to be held from 26 to 28 November, 2019 at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Riyadh. The event, which is recognised as one of the biggest of its kind in the region, has made great leaps in recent years in terms of the number of participants and the value of signed deals. This year, the exhibition will witness the participation of around 370 companies representing more than 40 countries.
