Beyond ‘Alya’ with Rabih Daher, CEO of Global Catering Services

Rabih Daher, CEO of Global Catering Services, recently inaugurated Alya Restaurant, an upscale venue situated in Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. Here, he shares details about the company behind it.

What inspires you to create innovative restaurant concepts?

In our culinary exploration, a discerning realization unfolded. We realized there was a gap in the market yearning to be filled with the exquisite essence of Lebanese cuisine. It is a gap that echoes the absence of meticulous attention to detail. Thus, there is a scarcity of dishes crafted with premium ingredients that transcend the ordinary. Subsequently, it was this revelation that sparked the inception of our culinary endeavor. Thus, we sought to bridge the void and introduce something truly exceptional.

The heart of our mission beats with the desire to offer more than just meals. We wanted to present an immersive experience where every dish serves as a storyteller. Consequently, we envisioned a culinary haven where each bite narrates the rich tapestry of Lebanese culture, history, and flavors. This vision transcends market gaps, weaving a tapestry of narratives through the artistry of Lebanese cuisine, creating a rich experience.

What factors have contributed to winning the trust of your customers with these brands?

As a distinguished industry leader, Global Catering Services boasts a diverse portfolio. Our nine brands have not only delighted local taste buds but have also made a lasting impact on the global and regional culinary stage.
