Jubail Island set to welcome new Spinneys supermarket

Jubail Island, an Abu Dhabi property with 30km of waterfront, has revealed a partnership with Spinneys for its luxury real estate. The project is set to welcome the new supermarket as the development nears its completion and handover phase.

The new Spinneys, situated in Souk Al Jubail, will serve as a central hub. It offers wellbeing, leisure, retail and more. With parks, sports facilities and entertainment, it promotes a relaxed lifestyle. This agreement marks the start of another chapter in creating one of the region’s premier communities. Spinneys’ presence will provide greater convenience to residents and visitors in their everyday lives, giving them the opportunity to shop for essential needs.
Andre Viljoen, chief property officer of Spinneys, said: “We are excited to announce our plans to open a brand-new outlet within the Jubail Island development. After all, it is one of Abu Dhabi’s most sought-after luxury residential destinations. We look forward to bringing residents the best of upscale living combined with the Spinneys shopping experience. We are thrilled to collaborate with JIIC as we always seek opportunities to bring our stores closer to our customers in premium destinations. This partnership will undoubtedly foster enhanced comfort and connection across the development.”
Spinneys works with growers from around the world to bring the finest produce to their stores. It serves over 100,000 customers daily. It operates more than 65 branches across the UAE. The Jubail Island supermarket will be the 12th store in Abu Dhabi. JIIC owns the AED 15 billion Jubail Island project, while LEAD develops and manages it across over 3,000 hectares of stunning mangrove surroundings.
