Chateau Rweiss Lebanon voted best wedding venue

Chateau Rweiss Panoramic: An ancient Chateau nestled on a hilltop overlooking Jounieh’s bay

At an international annual event held in Dubai, Lebanon’s Chateau Rweiss won the DWP Ace Award for the region’s best ‘Wedding Property of the Year’. Perched on top of a hill in Chnaniir, Keserwan, the venue beat 14 of the region’s top hotel venues spread across the Middle East. Surrounded by the Chnaniir nature reserve and overlooking Jounieh Bay, the venue has managed to attract Lebanese expatriates and foreigners the world over during the sixth Destination Wedding Congress held in Dubai.

According to Chateau Rweiss officials, “This award will have a very positive impact on our work and this award is testament to the successful business strategies previously employed, which directly contributed to highlighting Lebanon as a major tourist destination for Lebanese expatriates and foreigners wishing to hold their weddings.” The officials added, “Rafic Abi Nasr, who started renovations of the place in 2002, dreamt of restoring the glory of this edifice to promote the name of Lebanon as an international events destination. His belief is that individual initiatives are what generates real success. After all, to achieve sustainable tourism in Lebanon, every party must believe in its ability to progress locally and globally and strive to spread a successful image of the country in hope of attracting others to it.”
