Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga slated to open in 2026

Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga will mark the brand’s debut in the city and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Bringing a unique lifestyle hospitality experience to the kingdom, Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga Hotel and Residences will boast 200 keys. Furthermore, it will include 130 standard rooms and suites, along with 25 one-bedroom, 35 two-bedroom and 10 three-bedroom serviced apartments. The hotel will pioneer innovative culinary and mixology experiences in the kingdom. The scheduling of three new restaurants and lounges by Ennismore’s in-house F&B concept studio, Carte Blanched. Additionally, it will be home to generous event spaces and state-of-the-art social wellness spaces, paving the way for Mondrian’s progressive programming.

Designer and international award-winning interior architect Tristan Di Plessis will bring Mondrian to life in Riyadh. Additionally, the hotel will prioritize energy savings, water efficiency, reduced carbon emissions, and enhanced indoor air quality, earning LEED Certification.

Mondrian hotels are always at the heart of the world’s most exciting cultural scenes. Developers will integrate The Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga Hotel and Residences into the mixed-use Al Malga Urban Village.
Both residents and visitors alike can enjoy the vibrant boutique retail, dining, entertainment and leisure scene. The Al Malga neighborhood is at the entrance of the recently announced 400-metre-high cube-shaped skyscraper Mukaab. Additionally, the development will be a tourism and cultural destination, boasting convenient access to Boulevard Riyadh, Najd Village and King Abdullah Financial District.

In development with owner Olayan Financing Company (OFC), Mondrian Riyadh Al Malga is set to open in 2026. Ennismore and OFC plan to expand their partnership by introducing more Ennismore lifestyle brands to Saudi Arabia. Moreover, Mondrian’s global expansion shows no signs of slowing down, with a pipeline of 17 hotels and branded residences.

Mondrian Riyadh marks Ennismore’s debut in the city, a pivotal step forward in expanding its presence throughout the Middle East.
