Rotana has announced its expansion plans in Saudi Arabia.  

During the second edition of the Saudi Tourism Forum (STF), Eddy Tannous, Rotana’s COO, expressed excitement about the expansion plans, stating: “Our continuous engagement underscores our commitment to shaping the future of tourism in Saudi Arabia.”

Saudi Arabia presents one of the fastest-growing markets in the region. Moreover, Rotana aims to double its current room count in the kingdom. Furthermore, it is on track to achieve this ambitious goal in the upcoming years. Notably, its significant expansion plan includes the launch of eight new properties across the kingdom. Thus, bringing the total key count to 4,400 across 16 properties.

The upcoming additions comprise:
• Four Edge by Rotana properties in Riyadh
• One Rayhaan by Rotana property in Riyadh
• Dar Rayhaan by Rotana in Al Khobar
• Al Manakha Rotana in Madinah
• Edge by Rotana in Al Baha

STF, initiated after Saudi Arabia’s 2019 global opening, serves as a collaborative space for private and government sectors, as well as a pivotal platform for stakeholders to discuss and exhibit tourism progress, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s rich history and unique hospitality.

Rotana has been committed to forum participation since its inception, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 tourism initiatives and actively contributing to shaping the sector.

The hospitality group currently operates 74 hotels in the MEA, Eastern Europe and Turkey, collectively serving more than six million guests per year. Furthermore, its portfolio currently spans 19,237 keys and six superlative brands, including 10,159 keys across 36 hotels in the UAE, in addition to, 2,200 keys across eight hotels in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia
