Virgin Limited Edition Marrakech’s opening

Construction is underway for the 37-suite hotel inspired by Moroccan craftsmanship and Berber traditions, alongside planned exclusive residences. Located 25 minutes from central Marrakech, the estate will offer access to culture and cuisine, while ensuring a peaceful retreat. Furthermore, positioned one hour from Kasbah Tamadot, the property will enable guests to experience both vibrant city life and mountain serenity. In addition, plans include three restaurants, a Chef’s Table and a speakeasy bar, all supplied with seasonal produce grown directly on site. Moreover, wellness facilities will feature a traditional hammam, a 40-metre pool and sports activities, including tennis, padel and horse-riding. Sustainability guides the design, with buildings blending into farmland and showcasing local materials alongside artworks by Moroccan and African artists. Additionally, a versatile events space will host exhibitions, offering local artists a platform to present their work within the estate.

Commenting on the project, Joe Margison, CEO of Virgin Hotels Collection, voiced his enthusiasm. He said: “Morocco has an incredible heritage of hospitality. We are excited to bring our approach of offering exceptional experiences and service with soul to a second Moroccan setting. Furthermore, we are thrilled to be partnering with Sazanes Immobilier. Indeed, we are thankful to them for entrusting us to bring our unmistakable Virgin Limited Edition ethos to this project.”

The Chreky family, founders of Sazanes Immobilier, also shared their perspective. They said: “Our vision for this estate is to create a destination that feels intimately connected to its surroundings. We are, therefore, delighted to be working with Virgin Limited Edition to bring this vision to life and introduce a new luxury retreat just outside Marrakech.”

Bookings will open in September 2026, ahead of the first-phase launch in early 2027, followed by remaining keys in 2028.
