Emile Rassam designs the costumes of Saudi flyadeal cabin crew

Emile Rassam, the Lebanese designer of uniforms for renowned brands,

spanning hotels, airlines, restaurants, clubs and corporations, has collaborated with ‘flyadeal’, a new low-cost Saudi airline.

Earlier this year, reflecting flyadeal’s commitment to cater to a young and connected customer base, the airline invited Saudi-resident designers to participate in a design competition, challenging them to create a uniform concept for Saudi Arabia’s new low-fare airline.

This competition, implemented across multiple social media platforms, received over 720 design entries. Ultimately, design student Sadaf Khan won the assignment.

Enter Emile Rassam. The award winning design house, founded in 1949 in Beirut with presence in multiple markets, was commissioned to bring the design concept to life.

The collection of cabin crew clothing reflected flyadeal’s brand commitment to bring a fresh outlook to air travel in the Middle-East.

The cabin crew was present on the delivery flight from Hamburg, and the chairman of flyadeal Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser and CEO Con Korfiatis revealed the uniforms upon landing in Jeddah.

flyadeal commenced operations on September 23, the National Day of Saudi Arabia.
