What can you tell us about Kuwait’s hospitality sector?

Kuwait’s hospitality sector is becoming increasingly lifestyle driven. Guests are looking beyond traditional hotel stays toward experiences that feel vibrant, social and personalized. Additionally, travelers and local guests are seeking hotels that combine design, atmosphere, wellness, food culture and community engagement. Notably, lifestyle hospitality concepts are growing strongly, especially among younger travelers and professionals who value authenticity, creativity and seamless service. Indeed, Kuwait continues to present exciting opportunities for hotels that can deliver unique experiences while maintaining high international hospitality standards.

What are the most important factors to consider when managing a lifestyle hotel in Kuwait?

Managing a lifestyle hotel in Kuwait requires balancing operational excellence with strong guest engagement and brand identity. Today’s guests expect more than accommodation; they look for experience, energy and memorable social spaces. Beyond this, attention to service culture, design details, food and beverage innovation, digital presence and personalized interactions are essential. Additionally, understanding local preferences while creating a modern and welcoming atmosphere is key to building loyalty. It is also essential for positioning the hotel as a destination rather than simply a place to stay.

How would you describe the Kuwaiti clientele?

The Kuwaiti clientele is modern, sophisticated and highly aware of global lifestyle and hospitality trends. Guests appreciate stylish environments, quality dining, privacy and personalized service delivered with authenticity. They enjoy discovering new concepts, social experiences and venues that offer character and atmosphere. Kuwaiti guests are also very relationship driven and once they connect emotionally with a hotel experience, they often become loyal advocates who return regularly and recommend the property within their networks.

What attracted you to the role of GM at Ray Hotel by Cloud 7 in Kuwait?

Ray Hotel by Cloud 7 represents the new generation of lifestyle hospitality in Kuwait, which is exactly what attracted me to the role. Notably, the hotel’s vibrant identity, seaside setting and focus on experience-driven hospitality hold strong potential to make it a leading lifestyle destination in the market. I was particularly inspired by the opportunity to build a dynamic guest journey.
