Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay appoints Hadi Medawar as its new director of sales and marketing

Hadi Medawar has been appointed the new director of sales and marketing at Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay, an IHG hotel.

Medawar, who transferred from Staybridge Suites Doha Lusail to Crowne Plaza, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in tourism at the Lebanese University in Beirut.

With 18 years of rich hospitality and academic experience in sales and marketing, event and revenue management, he is also familiar with pre-opening projects. In his new role, he will spearhead the hotel’s initiatives to achieve growth, drive revenue and elevate its position in the local market.

Commenting on his new appointment, Medawar said: “I am very excited to continue my journey in IHG with Crowne Plaza Doha West Bay. The hotel is a stunning property with great potential, and I believe that my team and I will reach new heights not just in 2022 but also in the years to come.”
