Georges Chakra, general manager of Coral Beach Beirut, has a proven track record in the hospitality industry. He shares his vision for establishing and cultivating a customer-centric service culture, as well as ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations.

What can you tell us about your experience in the world of hospitality?

 I have successfully overseen the operations of multiple high-volume restaurants and hotels. My primary focus has always been on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth and maintaining rigorous budget controls. Over a decade of experience in strategic planning, finance, HR, marketing, and customer relations, refining my expertise in these areas.

What are you intending to bring to your new role as general manager of Coral Beach Beirut?

As the new general manager of Coral Beach Beirut, I bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills to the position. My primary areas of focus will include enhancing the guest experience, driving business growth, optimizing operations and providing leadership and mentorship. I am committed to working closely with our team to achieve our goals and ensure the continued success of Coral Beach Beirut.

In your opinion, what are the current trends in hospitality specific to Lebanon and the wider region?

In recent years, there has been a growing focus on experiential travel and unique, culturally immersive experiences in the hospitality industry in Lebanon and the wider region. This has led to an increase in the popularity of boutique hotels, eco-lodges and other unconventional accommodations that offer guests the opportunity to connect with local communities and cultures.

What are your goals and aspirations for the property?

My goals and aspirations for Coral Beach Beirut revolve around enhancing the overall guest experience. I will improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth. Thus, I aim to create a welcoming and luxurious environment for guests. I aim to implement sustainable practices and foster a culture of excellence among the staff. Consequently, positioning Coral Beach Hotel as a top choice for travelers seeking unparalleled hospitality.
