New GM joins Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort, Beirut

Kempinski Hotels announced the appointment of Markus Iseli as the new general manager for Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort, Beirut.

Iseli joins Kempinski Summerland from Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan in China, the first international European-style luxury hotel in the city, where he held the position of general manager for two years. He not only successfully managed the property during the Covid-19 crises but also maximized revenue performance and enhanced overall quality.

Prior to this role, two appointments in the Maldives marked milestones in his hospitality journey, which began in 1983 with Hilton International. Since then, Iseli has been instrumental in overseeing the design, construction, development, positioning and launching of over 10 luxury properties with brands such as Hilton, Four Seasons and Shangri-La.
