New Hotel Manager joins Park Hyatt Dubai

Park Hyatt Dubai announced the appointment of Sabine Renner to the role of hotel manager, in a move towards a new chapter for the property.

Boasting over 20 years’ experience in the tourism and hospitality sectors, Renner began her career in Salzburg, Austria with the Rooms Division after completing her tourism management degree. She then moved to the USA to undergo a Management Training Program at Auberge du Soleil, a Relais & Chateaux hotel, where she forayed into reception, reservations, concierge and guest relations.

Her next career move brought her to Munich, Germany where she held roles from Group Sales Coordinator to Convention Executive at the Arabella Sheraton Grand, before moving to Spain where she held the position of Account Manager prior to being promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort.

In 2008, Renner made the move to the UAE to lead the sales & marketing team at The Ritz Carlton JBR. In 2012, Sabine moved to France to work with Hotel Martinez before she finally moved back to the UAE in 2018 to head up the sales & marketing division at the Park Hyatt Dubai.

Since joining Park Hyatt Dubai, her impact, alongside the commercial team’s efforts, have paved the way for the property to become a market leader in Dubai and a benchmark for hotels in the region. In a meticulously executed strategy to reposition the hotel on the market, Renner seamlessly brought in new demographics and a diversified guest roster, increasing the number of weekend leisure travelers to the hotel.

She, and the team identified and targeted key markets to communicate the new positioning, leading to an increase in the property’s daily average rate and an improved market share.

Renner’s strategy and fine-tuned management skills led to Park Hyatt Dubai achieving the number one ranking within the hotel compset.
