Alpro launches newly formulated Barista oat drink in the UAE

Alpro, a forerunner in plant-based nutrition, has re-launched its new formulated Barista oat drink which delivers a creamier taste and superior micro-foam. Voted the best for coffee by baristas, the new and improved Barista oat drink is a 100 percent plant-based, dairy-free milk alternative for anyone who enjoys great coffee and is passionate about healthy, sustainable food choices.

Alpro has witnessed rising consumer demand for its vegan drinks, driven by consumer awareness about sustainable business practices and conscious nutrition. Created by baristas for baristas, Alpro Barista Oat drink was launched in partnership with coffee masters Damian Burgess and Merijn Gijsbers at Dubai’s RAW Coffee Company. The launch event, which took place on June 13, packed a whole day’s worth of café culture curated for guests to explore. Coffee lovers tried out delicious new recipes with their favorite brews.
The mild taste of the Alpro Barista Oat drink brings out the very best in coffee beans no matter how the coffee is brewed – whether frothy or flat, piping hot or poured over ice. Alpro Barista Oat also contains only naturally occurring sugars and is a rich source of vitamins D and B12. Because it is naturally lactose-free, it is also good for the planet.

As a pioneer in plant-based products, Alpro continues to show its commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. The brand has significantly reduced its carbon emissions by over 35 percent per product between 2010 and 2020.
