Baky Hospitality’s Shinkō bar to launch its new food & beverage menu

Shinkō Cairo, Baky Hospitality’s famous cocktail lounge will launch today its newest F&B menu with the combined work of Walid Merhi, beverage director, and Chef Reif Othman, BH’s exclusive culinary advisor. 

This alliance was created in a dare to elevate the guests’ drinking and culinary experience to a new dimension meeting international standard. 

“A cocktail Bar is much more than drinks, it is a journey, an overall experience, an eagerness for discovering” Merhi said. 

Merhi, co-owner, manager and head of Bar at ‘Ferdinand Gastro- pub’ in Beirut, ranked #1 of 985 restaurants in Beirut, listed among the places ‘worth traveling for’ on the world ‘50 best Discovery’, and shortlisted in the Tales of The Cocktails in the Top 10 Restaurant Bars in Middle East and Africa. 

Merhi is a key player in the progression of the drinks industry on a local and International scale, also listed among the ‘33 Bartenders you have to see before you DIE!’ list by ‘Cocktails for you’. 

“The new cocktail menu is inspired by our guests’ needs,” said Marc Ghazal, BH. F&B manager, he adds “New Cairo is in need of such an elaborate concept within an easy setup reflecting a classic Bar feel.”

In order to provide an unforgettable guest experience, the bar has created the unique concept of ‘The Bottle experience’ the guest brings his favorite liquor bottle and our bartenders take care of the rest, making sure to bring the most out of each guest’s bottle with the diverse selection of cocktails available in the menu. 

Shinkō is Baky Hospitality’s first cocktail lounge, opened in march 2018. It offers a wide selection of cocktails, from the classics to the uniquely innovative, complementing them with a special selection of gourmet appetizers combining international flavors with an Asian twist. 

Baky Hospitality founded in 2014 by Ayman Baky, has been driven to take the hospitality scene in Egypt to international standards. Its portfolio of establishments contains fine dining restaurants, a bar and an elegant beach side restaurant featuring acclaimed international performers. Baky Hospitality has expanded its interests in all aspects of hospitality, food and beverage.
