Oman continues accelerating tourism investments as Jabal Akhdar attracts global travelers seeking luxury escapes, wellness retreats, and mountain adventures year-round.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism confirmed 33 hospitality developments are in the pipeline across the mountain destination in Oman. These projects include resorts, boutique hotels, and eco-tourism ventures designed supporting sustainable economic diversification throughout Oman nationally long term. Additionally, authorities granted preliminary approvals for 15 hospitality establishments expected strengthening accommodation capacity while expanding tourism experiences considerably nationwide further. Furthermore, Jabal Akhdar’s cooler temperatures and dramatic scenery attract regional travelers throughout every tourism season consistently each year. Moreover, tourism operators increasingly position Jabal Akhdar as a premium destination combining luxury hospitality experiences with authentic natural surroundings successfully.
