With over 20 years of experience, Jad Abou Jaoude, a leading restaurateur and avid entrepreneur, has been busy launching a series of new projects under the function of managing partner at KJ Consultancy.

Abou Jaoude recently announced the acquisition of the master franchise development of cocktail-gastro bar Salmon Guru in the UAE. The bar was named the Highest Climber in The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2019.

In a statement, Abou Jaoude said: “I can’t wait to work closely with our new partner Diego Cabrera and his amazing team who will bring the Salmon Guru’s Madrid and Ibiza experience to Dubai!”

Abou Jaoude also announced the expansion of TATEL across Bahrain, Riyadh and Beverly Hills. The basis of TATEL´s cuisine is its careful gastronomic offering, a strong Spanish character that’s combined with a stroke of sophistication and innovation. Founded by the partners Manuel Campos Guallar and Abel Matutes Prats, TATEL’s menu brings back traditional recipes from Spain with an international touch. Its exclusive bar offers a wide variety of options, from the most traditional drink to the most authentic cocktail.

Abou Jaoude said: “Connecting this amazing brand to TATEL franchisee in Bahrain, Sheikh Talal Bin Mohammed managed by Kai Hospitality and in KSA with Yakoon Investment, Prince Saud Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, was extremely pleasant. Above all, it was an honor to personally meet TATEL’s partners and my idol Rafa Nadal“
