Tawlet launches Aasha el khamis

Lebanese restaurant Tawlet is launching a new concept called Aasha el Khamis, which stands for Thursday’s dinner. Every Thursday night, local and international chefs, farmers, cooks, winemakers and other food lovers will share their passions, their stories, their dreams and a dinner.

On December 20th, meet Tarek Alameddine, chef at Noma in Copenhagen, four-time winner of the ‘World’s Best Restaurant’ title. Tarek will show us how to turn Lebanese traditions and ingredients into a fine-dining experience with different mixtures and daring gastronomic techniques. The dishes will be paired with Sept wines. Sept is a new winery on the Lebanese scene with wines from different parts of Lebanon and various grape varieties: Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon from Nehla, two biodynamic reds; Cuvée du Soleil, an organic red, and two white wines, Obeideh and Viognier.
