Chef Maroun Chedid’s Newest Innovations

Following a festive evening filled with joy, laughter and mouth-watering food HN caught-up with Chef Maroun Chedid to learn what had been accomplished in the past year and to find out what the near future holds. Commenting on his cooking academy’s first year in operation he said, “The past year has proven incredibly-successful on all fronts and on the 13th of November we celebrated this achievement with an intimate event gathering friends and the media. Throughout that year, we not only managed to launch a concrete menu, but we have also been operating according to strict international standards in relation to our entire range of offerings. We also hosted a number of international celebrity chefs and managed to establish solid partnerships with American home appliance brand KitchenAid, German manufacturer of high-end domestic appliances and commercial equipment Miele, as well as French premium chocolate manufacturer Valrhona to name a few. Pertaining to future plans, Ritage Signature will open during the middle of December as will the Maroun Chedid Catering in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.”

She studied Business Management and earned a Masters degree from Saint Joseph University (USJ), her thesis was published in the Proche-Orient, Études en Management book. Her love for the industry and journalism led her to Hospitality Services - the organizers of the HORECA trade show in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan, as well as Salon Du Chocolat, Beirut Cooking Festival, Whisky Live and other regional shows.
