Rising above 1,000 meters, Jeddah Tower is set to redefine luxury hospitality, tourism and urban development in Jeddah. Poised to become the world’s tallest building, the tower is progressing toward its anticipated completion in August 2028, drawing strong global attention.
Designed by renowned architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill, the skyscraper will surpass Burj Khalifa by more than 170 meters. Part of the USD 20 billion Jeddah Economic City masterplan, the mixed-use development will serve as a major hospitality, residential and commercial destination.
The tower will include a luxury hotel, high end serviced apartments, private residences and premium office spaces. In addition, it will feature the world’s highest observatory, offering panoramic views of the Red Sea and the rapidly evolving Jeddah skyline. A sky terrace located on one of the upper levels will provide a unique open-air experience, positioning the tower as a landmark leisure attraction. The development will also integrate retail outlets, dining destinations and lifestyle amenities, creating a fully immersive mixed-use environment. Moreover, the tower will incorporate advanced engineering systems, including a high-performance façade designed to reduce heat load and improve energy efficiency. Its aerodynamic structure and three petal footprints are designed to minimize wind impact while maximizing usable residential and hospitality space. With construction accelerating, the project will boost tourism, attract foreign investment and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s global positioning.
Jeddah Tower will anchor a new era of large-scale destination development aligned with the Kingdom’s long-term vision for growth.
