Exclusive: Ladurée opens its fourth branch in Abu Dhabi

Ladurée has announced the opening of its newest branch in Al Bateen – Abu Dhabi, offering guests a unique dining experience by blending the brand’s French heritage with Middle Eastern culture.

Guests can savor the taste of an extensive range of impressive and premium collections by Ladurée, including its signature macarons, exotic pastries, delectable delicatessen, exquisite gift boxes and entremets. The newest outlet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, providing guests with an elevated dining experience of French cuisine that features tempting dishes.

Commenting on the latest opening, Nicolas Bonnier, Ladurée’s regional director of operations, said: “Opening our fourth branch in Al Bateen is a testament to our continued commitment to bringing the finest French patisserie experience to the UAE. The expansion is a natural progression for our brand as we seek to introduce our rich heritage to new audiences and offer the community a taste of Parisian elegance. We are excited to share our passion for culinary excellence and exceptional hospitality with the people of Abu Dhabi and beyond, and we look forward to creating unforgettable moments with our guests at the restaurant.”

The latest branch remains true to the brand’s French identity. Claudia Ravnbo, interior designer of Maison Ladurée from the design studio of Maison Ravn, commented: “For the opening of this new restaurant, Maison Ladurée has envisioned the outlet in a sky-blue tint dubbed ‘the fall of the angels,’ one of the house’s defining hues since its founding in 1862. Materials like marble, walnut and brass are used in sync, displaying the nobility of the location. We have applied numerous architectural and aesthetic features in this brand-new outlet that is deserving of the great Napoleonic palaces, including the imposing height of the ceiling, the exquisite chandeliers, the columns and gold touches, and the big sofas with trees growing out of them.”

The new restaurant boasts al fresco dining, with an outdoor terrace that affords beautiful views of the serene surroundings.
