Sneak peek into Playa Beach Club Dubai with Daniel Khairallah

A law school graduate, Daniel Khairallah, CEO of Rival Management Services LLC, found his calling in the world of hospitality. After launching a series of successful signature concepts worldwide, such as Crystal Beirut, London, St. Tropez, Metis, La Plage and the C Bar Dubai, to name a few, he ventured into the world of F&B, marketing and brand activation. We spoke to the Khairallah about his entrepreneurial flair and his latest projects.

What can you tell us about your latest concept, Playa Beach Club?
Playa Beach Club will be opening very soon on West Beach on the Jumeirah Palm Island, undeniably the most beautiful stretch of coastline in Dubai.
This colorful and vibrant new beach club concept will be about the celebration of the renewal of life, encouraging individuality with soulful music while embracing the sun in every dish created by Peruvian chef Carlo Valentino and every drink from the extensive signature Pisco-inspired cocktail menu.
Playa’s food inspirations originate from the diversity of the Peruvian climate and landscapes, ranging from the desert strip on the Pacific coast — where Peru’s capital Lima is located — to the Andes, the world’s longest mountain range, and the Amazon basin, with the largest rainforest on earth.
Playa Beach Club will be offering an indoor restaurant, as well as multiple outdoor lounge areas, from the beautiful white sandy beach adjacent to the chilled swimming pools where guests can marvel at Dubai’s gorgeous skyline.
We will host daily programs of lively events, from brunch feasts of Peruvian flavors and free-flowing drinks to signature business and corporate lunches.

What challenges are you facing and how are you overcoming them?
When I was in the process of creating the new concept of Playa with my team, our goal was to bring something exceptionally unique and totally new, with a focus on excellence at every stage. aim for excellence in each aspect of the F&B and entertainment industry. It was challenging for us to ensure that we dealt with the best food suppliers to provide the best quality in town. Through tastings, we managed to curate a menu that is not only delicious but has wide appeal, catering to the most refined and demanding clients.
We also hired top consultants to guarantee exquisite service. We also spent a considerable amount of time choosing the right music and DJs for every occasion.
These challenges brought nothing but positivity to the business, as it made us want to be at the top of our game, and we are sure that we won’t disappoint our guests.

What are your future plans?
Dubai is the starting point. Our plan is to go global and launch Playa in the most iconic locations, such as Mykonos, Ibiza, London, on the French Riviera and even in Miami.
