OMRAN Group has unveiled a strategic partnership with Egypt’s esteemed F&B leader The Smokery, represented by SIRCO Group, in a move poised to revolutionize Oman’s luxury dining and lifestyle scene.

The formalization of this collaboration, which occurred through the signing of an MOU at the prestigious ITB Berlin 2024, marks a pivotal moment in Oman’s tourism and hospitality domain.

Furthermore, this endeavor signifies a major milestone for The Smokery as it expands its horizons internationally. Consequently, offering its exceptional experiences to a global audience.

The partnership’s objective is to explore potential collaborations that will introduce distinctive dining experiences to Oman. Moreover, it will significantly bolster the growth of the tourism sector.

As part of this venture, OMRAN Group and The Smokery will concentrate on establishing a cutting-edge salmon smoking factory, the first of its kind in Oman.

Furthermore, the collaboration will witness the debut of upscale fine-dining establishments under The Smokery.

Investment in Oman’s culinary future

The investment earmarked for this endeavor totals an estimated 250 million EGP over a period of three years.

Moreover, Hashil Al Mahrouqi, CEO of OMRAN Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating: “Our partnership with SIRCO Group marks a significant advancement in Oman’s F&B sector, reaffirming our dedication to innovation, quality and excellence in hospitality, thereby enhancing Oman’s allure as a luxury travel destination.”

Furthermore, Karim Henein, chairman of SIRCO Group, echoed the sentiments. He stated: “We are thrilled to partner with OMRAN Group to bring our expertise in luxury dining to Oman. This collaboration with The Smokery is a testament to our shared vision of providing unparalleled culinary experiences.”

By summer 2024, OMRAN Group will follow the MOU with a comprehensive feasibility study and formalize contracts.

Construction of the salmon smoking factory and the inauguration of the first restaurant are slated for fall 2024, with operations set to commence in winter 2024-2025.

The collaboration between OMRAN Group and SIRCO Group signifies a commitment to transforming dining experiences in Oman, contributing to the nation’s burgeoning reputation as a global culinary hot spot.
